The Garden of Self + Healing through Nature

Welcome to kilian herbs, a place where thrives the freedom to heal and discover, a nourishing ground for folk-care and inner empowerment. Feel free to harvest plant medicine and ancestral love found here. You can use this knowledge on your path of homecoming. If you wish to connect more deeply, I invite you to take part in 1:1 offerings, teachings, and herbal consultations. I am here to bridge you with your plant allies and the healing forces of nature.

We all have our plant ally.

And not even one. Plants — like people — have personalities. You may have heard of Valerian and maybe even associate its name with the sense of calmness and sleep-inducing properties. And although it will act as a sleep aid for most people, the root cause of heart agitation or insomnia for each of us will be uniquely personal — just different. We all have our stories waiting to be acknowledged, accepted, felt, and listened to. With the willingness to heal and soften, plus the right plant by our side, we can move mountains, ease into self, and do what sometimes seems impossible — rejoice in ecstasy and freedom with our true soul-selves while exploring our innate potential. I believe that in the spiral dance of self-discovery, there is no one-size-fits-all. And so in herbalism.

Ancestral medicine and folk remedies

Herbalism is a life-long study course and sometimes getting to know the plant world on an intimate level takes more than one incarnation. Healing with herbs and using folk remedies is a beautiful and sensual practice of developing honest communication with oneself and nature. And it is by love, devotion, training, time, and dedication, that one can get to know plants profoundly and truly. The knowledge of chemical constituents, as praised in the western scientific approach, is useful and in some cases deeply essential, but plants — as all kingdoms in the living world — are multidimensional and intricate beings. And it is with great privilege and gratitude that I can do this work, share their medicine and teachings.

1:1 sessions

“The start of my ongoing relationship with Butterfly Pea flower has been none other than magical — after having a heartwarming, insightful, and beautiful session with Agnieszka, whose knowledge about plants and connection with them is truly unbelievable — she suggested during the session that I should introduce myself to Butterfly Blue Pea flower, which of course I never heard of before and was worried I would probably not find it in Bali, where I currently live. But this being a magical story, the moment I got off the phone with Agnieszka and said to my housemate of the flower I need, she smiled and said: ‘Oh, I got it right here’. I call it destiny. I’m truly grateful to Agnieszka for this beautiful recommendation — I have been meditating with Butterfly Pea ever since, learning about myself and my femininity and transforming into the person I want to be!”

“Aga, I truly don’t know how to thank you enough. The rose cure has been a tremendous help in clearing my mind and finding clarity in my direction. The Wild Rose medicine allowed me to finally listen to my inner voice, which has been trying to guide me for so long but was drowned out by chaos and confusion. Taking this pause with you, our call has truly brought me clarity 🙏🙏🙏🙏

“Aga is an extraordinary person—an herbalist who can truly connect with plants. She looks at herbs in a holistic way and encourages us to not only treat them as cures for our diseases but also to make friends with them and allow them to be our teachers. When Aga was selecting herbs for me, she first sought to understand my deepest needs, perhaps even those I wasn’t aware of within myself. The herbs she chose were also a bit surprising to me, as they differed from the obvious or very common choices. I have been working with Oatstraw and Chinese Schisandra for a couple of weeks, and they have been nourishing my mental and physical performance. I felt stronger and more at ease, at peace with my own body. Additionally, I experienced Aga’s White Rose flower essence. It was a beautiful and euphoric experience that made me realize how powerful these essences can be!”

Herbal advice and community service

Herbal medicine is our natural way of healing and supporting one another. It has been used extensively throughout the millennia and is way more conventional than any other branch of modern medicine. Plants and people have always been growing alongside each other. There is much information that we felt separate from, and in the course of action, it got buried and partly forgotten. Plant medicine is the ancient way of shamans, wise women, healers, and curanderas, who acknowledge the animate forces guiding us into a greater alignment with both inner and outer nature. And in fact, the living world we are part of is alive, constantly exchanging energy and information.

My work is based on inherited, studied, and channeled folk wisdom and as a keeper of the spiritual side of herbalism, it is my wish to bridge plants with people. After all, nature guides. Herbalists are more of matchmakers, caretakers, and messengers who can re-introduce, reconnect, and remind us of the kind of innate healing that occurs once we reunite with nature. The projects I’m undergoing aim to serve both personal and communal health sovereignty.

“One of our greatest fears is to eat the wildness of the world. Our mothers intuitively understood something essential: the green is poisonous to civilization. If we eat the wild, it begins to work inside of us, altering us, changing us. Soon, if we eat too much, we will no longer fit the suit that has been made for us. A wild light begins to gleam in our eyes. Our words start to sound strange, nonlinear, emotional. Unpractical. Poetic. Once we have tasted this wildness, we begin to hunger for a food long denied us, and the more we eat it, the more we will awaken.”

Light, Life, and Water

There is sacred and life-containing healing knowledge, guarded and embodied by the ancient temple lineage of the priestesses of water. In this tradition, we apprentice to light within waters. If you feel the calling, go and discover.
